Romy & Kim
Owners
Pluie & Soleil was founded by Romy and Kim—family, friends, and partners in creativity and entrepreneurship. Their shared love for fashion and their dream of creating their own clothing brand marked the beginning of Pluie & Soleil.
The idea arose from Romy’s experience as a mother of a girl and a boy. In the busy pace of everyday life, she felt that something essential was missing in today’s children’s clothing: color, quality, and the luxury of matching outfits for both boys and girls. Children’s fashion was becoming increasingly neutral, while color and imagination are precisely what contribute to joy, self-confidence, and children’s development.
At the same time, Kim completed her studies in Fashion Business & Development at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI), after previously finishing her training in Fashion & Tailoring. With a strong interest in product development, materials, and production processes, she translates creative ideas into high-quality and well-considered products.
By joining forces, Pluie & Soleil was created—a brand where creativity, quality, and thoughtful design come together, with a focus on aesthetics, comfort, and the everyday lives of children.
Our Brand
Pluie & Soleil means rain and sun—two opposites that together form the foundation of the brand. The name reflects the vision: creating clothing for every moment and every season, with style, color, and quality at its core.
The brand stands for high-quality children’s clothing in the luxury segment, featuring cheerful, unique, and colorful designs. The collections are made to match for boys and girls, with recognizable prints that playfully connect brothers, sisters, and friends.
Pluie & Soleil consists of seasonal collections, such as swimwear for the summer and rainwear for the autumn. In these designs, color is not only an aesthetic choice but also contributes to visibility and safety.
In the long term, the dream is to expand the collection into a complete wardrobe: for every moment, in every season.
Each collection is designed with attention to detail, comfort, and durability. Romy’s experience as a mother and Kim’s expertise in product development complement each other in this process. The result is clothing that is not only visually appealing but also thoughtfully designed with the everyday lives of children in mind.
